Vintage Heppner Alnico 12-inch whizzer cone guitar amp speaker, 8 ohm

Condition notes

Vintage Heppner 12-inch alnico speaker with a whizzer cone (dual-cone full range). Frame stamps 014-027293 and 575843, cone stamp SP-C0-313. These Heppner alnico 12s are a favorite swap into low-power tube guitar amps — warm and efficient with early breakup, around 20-25 watts — and the whizzer cone carries the top end, so this one works as a full-range single speaker. Tested and sounds good. The cone and whizzer appear original and are in excellent shape, and the cork gasket is complete. The voice coil reads 7.2 ohms on my Fluke meter (8 ohm speaker). One solder terminal shows some rust, as shown in the photos. Sold as shown in photos.
