Vintage Rola AO-21075-0 Alnico 10-inch guitar amp speaker, 8 ohm

Condition notes

Vintage Rola 10-inch alnico speaker, Hammond part number AO-21075-0. Frame stamps 10174-10LC23 and 285509. This is the smooth-cone 10-inch alnico Rola used in low-power tube amps — a sweet, early-breakup speaker in the same family as the Jensen P10R. The cone appears original and is in good shape, and the cork gasket is complete and intact. The voice coil reads 5.4 ohms on my Fluke meter (8 ohm speaker). Because of its age, I recommend having the surround reinforced for long-term use. Cosmetically the silver-gray frame has light rust spots, and there is rust inside the magnet cover opening, as shown in the photos. Sold as shown in photos.
