Vintage 1958 Jensen P12Q Alnico 12-inch guitar amp speaker, 8 ohm

Condition notes

Vintage 1958 Jensen P12Q Alnico 12-inch guitar amp speaker, 8 ohm. Date code 220448 (week 44 of 1958). Frame stamps: P12Q C6577 and AO 21270 0. Voice coil reads 6.8 ohms on the meter - see the meter photo. Tested and playing: no voice coil rub, and it sounds very good. Original cone is intact, with a small pinhole in the surround, some glue around the dust cap, and one other small imperfection in the surround - all shown in the close-up photos. Because of its age and that pinhole, I recommend having the surround reinforced for long-term use. Light surface rust and dust on the frame. Sold as-is, exactly as shown in the photos.
